Eos Capital was founded in 2015 and currently manages N$1.1bn between three Namibia-only funds - the N$460m Allegrow Fund, a general private equity fund, the N$540m Namibia Infrastructure Development and Investment Fund (NIDIF) and the Euphrates Agri Fund, a Namibia focused agriculture fund. It is still fundraising for the Euphrates Agri Fund with a target of N$1bn.
About the position
We are looking for a Portfolio Analyst to work as a member of our value creation team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with value addition in portfolio companies to improve processes and optimize results
- Assist with fund operation activities, including:
- Fundraising
- Business development
- Assist with market research and analysis
- Support due diligence activities within the investment team
- Support and co-ordinate due diligence, negotiations and briefing to legal counsel
- Support on-going performance reporting and value addition on projects
- Any other responsibilities as may be assigned to you
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree focusing on Accounting, Business or Finance with a strong finance background, preferably from a top university
- Strong numeric, analytical ability and financial modelling skills
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a relevant field such as operations, project finance, corporate finance, infrastructure finance, investment banking, private equity or management consulting
